തീവറ ചാർലിയച്ചനും യുക്തിവാദ കല്യാണവും.
എന്റ്റെ ചെറുപ്പത്തിൽ തൃശൂരിലുള്ള എന്റ്റെ ഒരു സുഹൃത്ത് അംഗമായ ഒരു ഇടവകയിൽ ഒരു ഊർജസ്വലനായ കൊച്ചച്ചൻ ചാര്ജെടുത്തു. വികാരി അവധിയിലായതിനാൽ പുള്ളി ആണ് ഭരണം. അന്നൊക്കെ കരിസ്മാറ്റിക് പ്രസ്ഥാനം അത്ര ശക്തിപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ല. അതിനാൽ ഇപ്പൊ കാണുന്ന പോലെയുള്ള ധ്യാന സ്പെഷ്യലിസ്റ്റുകളായ തീവ്ര അച്ചന്മാർ തീരെയില്ല. എന്നാൽ തീവറ ചാർലിയച്ചൻ എന്ന് വിളിക്കാവുന്ന ഇങ്ങേർ അങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നു. അതീവ നിഷ്ഠ, ശുദ്ധതയിലൂന്നിയുള്ള പ്രബോധനം, സദാചാര ലംഘനം നടത്തിയാലുണ്ടാവുന്ന നരക ശിക്ഷയിലൂന്നിയുള്ള കഠിന കഠോര പ്രസംഗങ്ങൾ. പള്ളിയിൽ ആണുങ്ങളെയും പെണ്ണുങ്ങളെയും വേർതിരിച്ചിരുത്തൽ, […]
