It is one of the modern wonders of the world. A blaze of light in the darkness. People there- especially young ones- must be crying?
or they could be saying:
“Useless Europeans! They ruled us and looted us, and now they are coming with conspiracy laden gimmicks to destroy our ancient culture. Bah!”
And this narrative will be pushed by their government, too.
Is this catching? May not be. But we can catch it. If they eat poison, they will fall sick. If we eat poison, we will fall sick too.
